When you visit the site, we or our service providers may collect:
We use privacy-respecting analytics and do not build advertising profiles.
We do not collect payment card details through this site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. We do not use tracking pixels from advertising networks.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
We do not send marketing emails. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first, and every message will include an unsubscribe link.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share it only with:
Service providers who help us operate, each bound to protect it and use it only for the service they provide to us:
Others, only when required: if the law compels us, if we need to establish or defend legal claims, or if we ever transfer the business — in which case we would notify you.
Gald operates from the Dominican Republic, and our service providers operate servers in the United States, the European Union, and elsewhere. This means your information may be transferred outside your country of residence, including outside Canada, the EEA, and the United Kingdom.
Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or UK, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard, and we take reasonable steps to ensure your information receives comparable protection.
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable service providers. Access to inquiry and client information is limited to people who need it to do the work.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information and poses a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

We respond within 30 days. We do not charge for this, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
If you are in the EEA or UK: you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are in Canada: PIPEDA gives you the right to access and correct your personal information and to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
If you are in California: you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not process sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics.
We use only what the site needs to function, plus basic analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the site works. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent through a banner before setting them.
Please do not send confidential or proprietary material through our contact form or in a first email. Initial inquiries are not treated as confidential until we have signed a non-disclosure agreement. If you need to share sensitive material to describe your project, say so and we will put an NDA in place first.
The site may link to services we do not control, such as scheduling or messaging platforms. Their privacy practices are their own. We encourage you to read their policies before using them.
The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email hello@gald.ai and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and we will post material changes on this page. If a change significantly affects how we use information you already gave us, we will contact you directly where we reasonably can.
