A prediction market for the Dominican Republic: real money, real settlement, and a house that has to stay solvent on every outcome.
Predix lets people take a position on what happens next — a Serie del Caribe final, an inflation print, an election round — and get paid when they are right. Prices move like a market because they are set by one: an LMSR market maker quotes both sides continuously, so there is always a price to trade against without waiting for someone to take the other end.
The hard part is never the screen. It is that every peso has to be accounted for twice: once in the wallet ledger and once in the house exposure. Markets settle from a named source, deposits and withdrawals reconcile against a cash rail run over the counter at partner bancas, and a set of invariants runs daily to prove the books still balance. A market cannot resolve without evidence attached to it.
